Mar Cor Purification Hemodialysis &
Life Sciences Filtration Solutions
Mar Cor Purification's
unique Fiberflo® polysulfone hollow
fiber technology is the core component
of a wide range of medical filter
applications. Manufactured with a
patented process using hydrophilic
polymers combined with a naturally
hydrophobic polysulfone polymer, the
sponge-like structure of the fiber
walls and inherent biocompatibility
make it ideal for either medical or
process filtration.
The entire FiberFlo product line is
integrity testable and pore sizes
are certified by a latex bead challenge.
Our pore size control and membrane
asymmetry enables our hollow fiber
filters to essentially reject all
0.45, 0.2, 0.1 or 0.05 micron beads,
whereas pleated membranes pass significant
quantities of these beads. This unique
pore size control and membrane structure
enables the FiberFlo® Hollow Fiber
Filters to remove fine particles,
bacteria, pyrogens and endotoxins.
These bead challenge test results
clearly demonstrate that we truly
have a differentiated product compared
to the traditional pleated membrane
filters.
The
unique membrane structure of FiberFlo
HF Filters provides consistent
and verifiable pyrogen removal
that surpasses traditional, absolute-rated
membrane filters. High-level endotoxin,
bacteria, and spore removal make
these point-of-use filters ideal
for a variety of water purification
or process fluid applications.
This most advanced of filtration
technologies also provides high
flows with high filter efficiency
for savings in system design.
The
New FiberFlo “NN”
All-Nylon cartridges are absolute
rated. Made with Nylon membrane,
cage, core, end caps and support
media, the cartridges have high
surface area with excellent flow
rates per 10 inch length. Their
single-material construction gives
them broad compatibility with
a wide range of chemicals. The
physiological inertness of Nylon
makes them suitable for the filtration
of a number of chemicals, including
Photo Resists, Developers and
Solvents.
Prefiltration
is critical for the long life
of your filtration system. Mar
Cor Purification has a complete
line of prefiltration products.
FiberFlo Microfiber Cartridge
Filters offer economical, long
life filtration to remove larger
particles that can foul submicron
filters. Available in a wide range
of micron ratings, these filters
will clarify your fluids and protect
your filtration system. FiberFlo
Pleated Membrane Filters provide
the best protection for the FiberFlo
Hollow Fiber filters you use in
critical applications. Prefilters
are ideal for removing most sub-micron
particles and most bacteria before
the critical Hollow Fiber filters
which remove remaining bacteria
and endotoxins.
The
FiberFlo Hollow Fiber Degassing
System is designed to add or remove
gasses from liquid streams. This
system is composed of a polypropylene
housing and a hollow fiber cartridge
degas module.
The
choice of Filter Housings can
be a critical factor in the performance
of your system. We offer a full
line of housings for your filtration
needs including both stainless
steel and polypropylene housings.
Stainless steel housings have
ultraclean, electropolished surfaces
for a finish that helps prevent
bacteria from adhering to the
surface, improves corrosion resistance,
and provides a smooth surface
that can easily be cleaned. The
stainless steel housings offer
a complete choice of internal
filter connections for SOE or
DOE cartridges. T-Style or In-Line
versions are available to fit
all installation requirements.
Filtration Technologies Group's pure
polypropylene filter housings are
ideal for use in all industries where
filtered liquids must remain totally
free of contamination. These opaque
housings are especially essential
in the dialysis, semi-conductor, pharmaceutical
and chemical processing industries.
They are constructed entirely of virgin
polypropylene without talc, fillers,
reinforcements or lubricants.
In critical applications, these housings
ensure pure, cost effective filtration
of a variety of solvents, acids, alcohols
and chemicals without leaching or
bacterial build-up. Filtration Technologies
Group's polypropylene opaque housings
provide an inexpensive alternative
to stainless steel housings.
