Semiconductor Filtration Solutions

Fiberflo hollow fiber filters have several operational advantages as loop polishing filters. First, the hollow fiber filters are documented to remove more particulate matter than a conventional pleated filter of the same pore size rating. Second, the hollow fiber filters have a higher flow rate than conventional pleated filters with the same pore size. The higher flow rate per filter allows a reduction in the number of housings required to accommodate system flow. In addition, the hollow fiber filters have a fast rinse up time for TOC and particles and will last longer than conventional pleated filters, resulting in lower replacement costs and reduced downtime when opening up the ultrapure water system. Adding it all up, FiberFlo hollow fiber filters provide better contamination control and lower cost than pleated filter alternatives.

For control of microbiological contaminants in semiconductor systems, semiconductor clients should consider Minncare Cold Sterilant. This disinfectant is an EPA registered, environmentally friendly chemical that is designed for the fast, efficient and safe removal and control of bacteria and biofilm in pure water and process systems. The New FiberFlo “NN” All-Nylon cartridges are absolute rated. Made with Nylon membrane, cage, core, end caps and support media, the cartridges have high surface area with excellent flow rates per 10 inch length. Their single-material construction gives them broad compatibility with a wide range of chemicals. The physiological inertness of Nylon makes them suitable for the filtration of a number of chemicals, including Photo Resists, Developers and Solvents.
